Connects to your bench calibration base on one end and directly to the Cummins Celect ECM (N14, M11, L10) on the other, for bench testing, ECM programming, and diagnostics off the truck.
Also known as an ECM jumper harness or bypass breakout cable, sometimes searched as “Select” bench harness or bench cable.
When do I need a bench harness for my Celect ECM?
A bench harness is useful when a Celect-equipped engine shows signs of an ECM issue: a crank-but-no-start condition, no communication with your scan tool, intermittent or random shutdowns, hard starting when hot, erratic idle or surging, or a fault code such as 111. Connecting the ECM on the bench lets you power it up, verify communication, and test or program the module off the truck to confirm whether the ECM itself is the problem before reinstalling it.
Does this bench harness work for Celect and Celect Plus?
This harness is made for the Cummins Celect ECM (N14, M11, and L10). Celect Plus uses a different ECM connection, so it needs a different harness — we offer a separate Celect Plus bench harness for that. If you are not sure which system your engine uses, contact us before ordering.
