Changes and refunds

RETURNS, EXCHANGES, REFUNDS AND/OR CANCELLATION POLICIES

  1. Return policies:

1.1.   General Conditions for Returns:

  • The consumer can return a product within 30 calendar days from the date of purchase. After that date, returns are not accepted.
  • The product must be in the same conditions in which we sent it, without signs of use, with labels and in its original packaging.
  • It is essential to present the original proof of purchase, such as an invoice and/or delivery note (serial numbers/references must match the invoice or delivery note)

1.2.   Exclusions:

  • Returns are not accepted for products that have been personalized or custom-made, unless it presents manufacturing defects.
  • Under no circumstances will merchandise that has been requested, invoiced and brought to the country as a special order be returned. “Special order” is understood as all merchandise that is not within the company’s current stock, but has been requested in an extraordinary manner to be sold to a specific customer

1.3.   Manufacturing Defects:

  • If the product has manufacturing defects, our client (consumer) may request a repair, exchange for a new product, or a refund.
  • The maximum period to report a factory defect is 60 calendar days from the purchase.

 

2. Change policies:

2.1.   Conditions for Changes:

  • Product changes will be made within a period of 30 calendar days from the date of purchase.
  • The product must comply with the same conditions specified in point 1.1.
  • The change will be subject to the availability of the product in inventory.

2.2.   Change process:

  • The consumer must go to the physical store or contact customer service, presenting or sending the product along with proof of purchase.
  • If the new product has a higher cost than the original, the consumer must pay the difference. If the new product has a lower cost, a voucher or credit will be issued to the consumer.

 

  1. Online Shopping:

3.1.   Right of Withdrawal:

  • The consumer has the right to retract the purchase made online within 5 business days following receipt of the product.
  • The product must be returned in the same condition in which it was received and the consumer will be responsible for the shipping costs associated with the return.

3.2.   Products damaged by shipping:

  • If the product received has visible damage or defects, the consumer must notify the company within 24 hours of receipt, providing photographic evidence.
  • The company will take care of the shipping costs in these cases and will provide a replacement or a refund of the full purchase amount.

 

  1. Refund policies:

4.1.   Deadlines for Refunds:

  • Refunds will be processed within 15 business days of the return being accepted.
  • Refunds will be made through the same payment method used for the purchase, unless otherwise agreed with the consumer.

4.2.   Conditions for Refund:

  • If the product was requested as a special order, in no case will it be refunded
  • The refund will be made once it has been reviewed that the returned product complies with the conditions established in this regulation.

 

  1. Cancellation policies:

5.1.   Exclusions:

  • Cancellation will not be valid on products that were requested as a special order, or on products that were modified, manufactured, cut or specially designed at the customer’s request.

5.2.   Cancellation process:

  • Any purchase cancellation is requested by sending an email to the address: info@americadiesel.com.mx and ventas@americadiesel.com.mx. You must indicate the situation or reason for cancellation.

 

NOTE: If you need to return, exchange or cancel a product due to an unidentified defect, and its review requires technical knowledge, the corresponding opinion will be requested from the judgment of duly accredited experts.

  1. Modifications to policies:

7.1.   Policy Update:

  • These policies may be modified at any time to adapt to any change in legislation or company policies. The modifications will be published on the website www.americadiesel.com and will take effect immediately.
